ABOUT THE ARCHIVE:
The goal of my archive is quite simple: to provide a comprehensive list of the professonal soccer players in the United States, both active and retired. Not only a list, but also detailed historical statistics for each payer as well.
As of March 11, 2003, every player who has ever played in Major League Soccer enjoys a spot in this archive. Not to mention every player to have appeared in an A-League game since 1997 and every D3 (Pro Select League) player since 1999. I am currently working hard to find past years rosters and statistics for the PDL as well and my newest addition to the site is a archive on the NASL (featuring a select group of NASL players).
The legend for the archive is as follows:
Player Name, Position, Year, Team, Games Played, Goals Scored, Assists, and Points.
Additional information for each player is also included. For each league, I selected my own all-star teams (a 1st, 2nd and 3rd team). Player awards include: best scorer (most points), best passer (most assists), best goalie, best foreigner, best american, best rookie, comeback player of the year and the most valuable player.
Keep checking back as I will be constantly updating and fine tuning the site. Also go to the contact page if you have any suggestions or corrections (and I'm sure there are many, as tabulating the archive has proved to be a time consuming chore at times) or feel free to sign my guestbook.
